Our usual routine is getting to know each other over DM's, sharing ideas, getting excited about your plans and of course, making sure we're available! If you'd like to arrange a zoom call or chat on the phone, we're also happy to do this as well.

If you decide to book us, we kindly request 50% up front to book you in and the remaining balance is due one month before your event. We also send over a confirmation email with all of your details, terms and conditions etc. before you part with any money to make sure you're absolutely happy with everything!

"We're not very confident on camera..."

To be honest, most people aren't! But that absolutely doesn't mean you can't have the most beautiful and natural footage. We adjust our approach to suit each person - if you want strong editorial poses, we got you! If you want natural hand holding, walking and giggling, we got you! If you want to pretend we aren't there and just want candids, we got you! It's super important to us that you're comfortable.

"What happens if you're unwell on our wedding?"

One of the reasons we have a small team at Groovy Octopus Media is so that there is always back up! It is of the upmost importance that your wedding story is captured with consistency, so even if you have a different team member capture the footage, Jen & Adam handle all of the editing.

"How do we book you?"

Once we've had a chat, we send over a full confirmation email with all of our terms & conditions, etc. and kindly request 50% up front to secure your date. The remaining balance is then due 1 month before the wedding day.

"How long do you take to edit?"

We always aim for 12 weeks or less (if you're early in the season, it can be a lot quicker!) but you also receive photo previews the next day, or within a week and your film trailer within 2 weeks.

"Can we send you inspiration?"

Of course you can! We have our own signature style, but we're always inspired by other creatives and constantly doing our own research to improve and adapt.

"How far in advance can we book you?"

We're extremely busy and most of our clients book 18 months in advance, but with that said, always contact us for full availability as sometimes we have a spare weekend during peak season.
