Let's face it, it's harder than ever to choose your suppliers and we don't blame you for being a little bit stressed about it! There are so many talented photographers and videographers these days, but we hope that it's our personalities that make us stand out from the rest. We believe the reason we've built such an amazing community of clients is because we bond before booking.
We're basically besties just from the Instagram DM's and giggles, so when we meet in person it already feels like we know each other!

3 years ago when we were living in Ibiza, we started our travel and lifestyle brand, Digital Hippie Agency. We have been freelance separately for 10+ years but decided to come together and create a place where we share our travel adventures, reviews, tips, vlogs and inspire people to travel whilst working (Digital Hippie... get it?)

We needed a separate place to keep all of our professional work for weddings, brands etc. so Groovy Octopus Media was born!

We like to call our brands cousins.
In 2021, Tourism Ireland challenged us to drive the Ring of Kerry in a camper van. We documented the trip and had so much fun, we absolutely fell in love with van life. So in 2023, we sold all of our belongings, moved out of our house and lived in our converted van for a year! We obviously drove straight to Ibiza, but spent a lot of time in Europe and ended the trip in the Netherlands.

We're now blessed to own a home in Brighton, but van life is still a big part of our lives. Keeping Wall-E (like we'd ever sell him anyway, come on) means we can work pretty much anywhere! When we are booked in the UK, we hop in Wall-E and take a little trip so we can wake up in the morning exactly where we need to be. The best of both worlds!
We'll try and keep this short because it's quite the journey! In 2013 Jen began working in her first bridal shop, which naturally progressed into photographing and filming weddings.
She continued on this path until 2019 when she opened her own bridal shops in Eastbourne and in Brighton. Although she won awards and the bridal studio was a huge success, it meant stepping back from covering weddings which she really missed. After meeting Adam in 2021 and the couple realising their passion for photography and videography was mutual, they decided to close the business and pursue travelling alongside capturing the memories for themselves, but also for others!

Groovy Octopus Media was born and we are now blessed to be official suppliers of C'as Mila in Ibiza, but also covering weddings across Europe and the UK with our newest team member Nathaniel. Whilst Jen & Adam predominantly cover Europe, Nathaniel is a fantastic videographer and drone operator who covers UK dates.
